BATTERY
MONITORS
Victron have made monitoring your batteries very easy and very accessible.

All you have to do is decide how much monitoring you want on your system.
​
Both the BMV-712 and Smart Shunt will provide local battery information. The BNV-712 will also display information on its LCD display. Both link directly to a smartphone for easy setup and data viewing.
For systems with Inverter or Inverter Chargers the Cerbo GX can be used to give an overall view of a system.
​
The Cerbo GX will connect to any Victron product with the VE Direct port.
​
You can connect the Cerbo GX to Ethernet locally, a Sim Card modem with Ethernet output or the Victron GlobalLink 520. This will give you access to the free Victron remote monitoring service via the VRM Portal.

The Cerbo GX will still need information from either the Victron BMV-712 or SmartShunt.
​

The maximum distance for a VE Direct cable is 10m. This is used to join the Cerbo GX to the SmartShunt, BMV-712, Solar MPPT Chargers.

The BMV-712 has a programmable relay which can be used for many applications

The GX Tank 140 module can be used to add 0-10v Tank Sender to the system.

The VRM Portal can send emails determined by rules set. For example you'll receive an email if your shore power is disconnected for more than 5 minutes and the boat is in its penn.
